We extend a huge thank you to all who attended the AGM in Chacewater on 3rd March despite Storm Freya rattling the windows and doing her best to blow us all away.
I think all who attended had a good time, it is never a very serious event and much banter usually ensues, especially from our treasurer Kevin, who always presents the annual accounts with topic anecdotes!
Your officers and committee remain: David Lockwood as Chair, Valerie Bruce-Smith as Secretary, Kevin Bruce-Smith as Treasurer and your hard working committee are Jan Barker, Kathy Salisbury, Richard Green and Larry Goldsworthy.
We enjoyed a very interesting Channelled Talk from George Burridge who is one of our senior members. A written transcript is available on request. He has also recently produced a booklet which is available on Kindle: Messengers.
We have around 170 members at present and we all aim to represent each others interests. So please stay in touch with us, send us stories, pictures, photos, news, details of events etc. It is good to share and give a public face to our associations name.
Our next major meeting will be 13th October at St Erme Community Centre for our informal tea and natter, meditation/healing share and general get together. We are also hoping that we might have a very interesting speaker line up, plans are afoot!
